She lived in Thailand for one year, working as a veterinarian for SE Asia’s largest animal welfare shelter, ‘Soi Dog.’ In 2017, she returned to Canada and completed a rotating small animal internship (internal medicine, surgery, emergency, cardiology, oncology and ophthalmology) before spending several years as an emergency and intensive care veterinarian at the two largest emergency referral hospitals in Toronto, ON. Dr. Martin is passionate about emergency medicine, quality patient care, and topics of animal welfare (both international and in our own backyard!). During her time off, she enjoys spending time with her new baby boy, her husband, and their fur babies, Hudson and Huey!
