Our centers are equipped with the latest medical technology, including a full-service ICU, dedicated surgery suites, digital X-ray and CT scan, and more to provide the best care for your pet.

When to Contact Your Emergency Vet

Pets are great at masking when they are sick or injured, so it may not be obvious if they need emergency care. If your pet is experiencing any of the following symptoms or behaviors, seek emergency care immediately:

  • Difficulty breathing
  • Traumatic event (hit by a car, attacked by another animal, etc.)
  • Severe bleeding
  • Vomiting/diarrhea for over 24 hours
  • Straining or unable to pass stool or urine
  • Bloated or distended abdomen
  • Inability to walk
  • Seizures or convulsions
  • Loss of consciousness
  • Exposed to a toxin (pills, household chemicals, chocolate, etc.)
  • Difficulty giving birth

Emergencies can range from subtle to severe, but always contact your primary veterinarian if you have any questions. If your pet is affected by any of the above symptoms and needs emergency care, please contact us right away. Our experienced and knowledgeable emergency vets will be here to treat your pet and keep you informed of their condition and treatment.

"The entire staff was incredibly compassionate and communicated with us every step of the way in our emergency situation. They treated our cat like the precious family member she is and did such an amazing job. I'm so grateful they are close by."
