Abby Paz, CVT Assistant Practice Manager - Emergency Services

Born and raised in Miami, FL, Abby began her veterinary career over a decade ago as a kennel technician – a role that sparked her passion for animal care and team development. Her dedication and curiosity led her to grow into leadership and recruiting positions within the veterinary field.

Abby earned her Associate in Biology from Miami Dade College before moving to Tampa, FL, to further her education and career. She went on to obtain an Associate of Science in Veterinary Technology from St. Petersburg College and became a Credentialed Veterinary Technician. She is currently pursuing her Bachelor of Science degree at the University of South Florida.

With a deep appreciation for learning and mentorship, Abby enjoys guiding other technicians in their professional growth while continuing to seek mentorship herself. She believes there is always something new to learn in veterinary medicine.

Outside of work, Abby loves visiting her family in Miami, spending time at the beach and theme parks, and traveling with friends across the country. She is thrilled to join the Fetch team and looks forward to supporting the ER department and contributing to the hospital’s continued success.
