Dr. Caryn Ehrhardt is originally from Atlanta, Georgia, and has been working in the veterinary field since she was in high school. She developed her love for emergency and critical care while completing her undergraduate studies and working in an emergency and specialty hospital in Atlanta. She moved to Tennessee to attend veterinary school at Lincoln Memorial University and then to Colorado, where she completed her rotating internship before returning to the south for her residency in emergency and critical care at the University of Florida in Gainesville. As a critical care veterinarian, some of her particular cases of interest include mechanical ventilation, transfusion medicine, toxicities, and shock. Outside of work, she enjoys being outdoors, paddleboarding, traveling, hiking in the mountains, dancing, watching scary movies, and spending time with her border collie.
