Dr. Yousif is originally from Chicago, Illinois (GO CUBS!). She attended Iowa State University, where she received a degree in animal ecology and animal science. She attended St. George’s University School of Veterinary Medicine in Grenada and completed a clinical year at University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine. She then completed a small animal rotating internship at Veterinary Specialists and Emergency Services in Rochester, NY. Her veterinary interests include trauma and exotic animals, but her true passion is mentoring young veterinarians.
Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Yousif enjoys coaching and playing soccer, reading a good book, photography, and dabbling in interior design. She is also an avid Harry Potter fan.
