Dr. Beck is a veterinary medical oncologist primarily treating small animal patients. She also holds a graduate diploma in Veterinary Chinese Herbal Medicine, which allows her to offer her patients complementary approaches to conventional cancer treatment. Dr. Beck is also a Certified Hospice and Palliative Care veterinarian through the International Association for Animal Hospice and Palliative Care, which allows her to provide a broader range of end-of-life services for her patients.

Dr. Beck enjoys writing veterinary articles and animal-related blogs, and has completed several freelance assignments. Since beginning her herbal therapy training, she has developed an avid interest in holistic nutrition and lifestyle (both for people and animals) and looks for ways to educate herself further in nutrition and lifestyle management strategies.
