CareCredit is a medical credit card available for veterinary services. It differs from other major credit cards in two ways:
- All transactions are eligible for a no-interest or low-interest payment plan.
- Cardholders may be eligible for no-interest plans if services are paid in full within the promotional period.
CareCredit is subject to credit approval and monthly payments are required. It can be used continuously for your pet’s follow-up care and any future medical needs.

Scratchpay provides simple payment plans for financing veterinary care with faster and higher approval rates. However, Scratchpay is not a credit card. Finding your plan option will not affect your credit score.
All payment plans and loans are subject to approval and, with respect to the loan, the rate for which individual borrowers qualify is based on individual credit history in addition to other factors.

Pet insurance can protect your pet and your finances from the cost of unexpected injuries and illnesses. Most pet insurance plans cover emergencies, new injuries and illnesses, hereditary conditions, cancer, and chronic conditions, but all plans are different and should be verified with your carrier.
