Dr. Benjamin Lee met his wife in veterinary school in Starkville, Mississippi, and they are both veterinarians. He grew up in Charleston, South Carolina, and his wife is a Clemson alumnus from Greer, South Carolina. Dr. Lee’s primary interests are novel approaches to the treatment of cancer with a focus on lymphoma, mast cell tumors, hemangiosarcoma, osteosarcoma, and histiocytic sarcoma. Developing new approaches that combine traditional treatments with newer targeted therapies is his current primary focus, as well as exploring new therapeutics, like immunotherapy, as they become available. His favorite part of practicing veterinary medicine is developing relationships with pets and their families and seeing positive responses to treatment.

Dr. Lee and his wife are incredibly excited to be moving back to the state they have called home for most of their lives. They have three dogs and three cats, and they love spending time outdoors hiking, climbing, and traveling when they can.
