Dr. Bates is a longtime animal lover. She is passionate about emergency medicine for the adrenaline rush as well as the reward of seeing the sickest patients walk out the hospital feeling like a million bucks. She has two dogs– Indy (frenchie), Dudley (mix) and Peter Wiley, a murderous feline. Dr. Bates loves hiking, mountain biking, fly fishing and when she’s not saving lives in the ER you can find her enjoying the great outdoors!
