Amy is a Florida native with a love for animals, sunshine, and just about anything that gets her outdoors. Her career in veterinary medicine began in 2008 as a veterinary assistant, and over the years, she worked her way up to becoming a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT). She earned her Associate of Science in Veterinary Technology from St. Petersburg College and later completed her Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of South Florida.

Throughout her career, Amy has built extensive experience in emergency and specialty veterinary medicine while also stepping into leadership roles that allow her to support both patients and the people caring for them. She has a particular passion for nursing care, anesthesia, client communication, and helping veterinary professionals grow their skills and confidence. For Amy, one of the most rewarding parts of veterinary medicine is working alongside a team that shares a genuine commitment to providing exceptional care for pets and their families.

Outside of the hospital, Amy enjoys spending time with her husband and family, preferably somewhere on the water. She also shares her home with two friendly Chihuahuas and an adventurous Labrador named Mayday. Whether she’s boating, soaking up the Florida sunshine, or spending time with her dogs and family, Amy is happiest when she’s outdoors and surrounded by the people and pets she loves.
