Dr. Muldowney is a native of California and he majored in microbiology at the University of California, Santa Barbara. He received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree from Kansas State University, followed by a one-year small animal medicine and surgical internship at the Veterinary Specialty Center of Seattle. He then completed a three-year medical oncology residency at the Veterinary Cancer Center in Connecticut. Dr. Muldowney has a special interest in lymphoma, bone tumors, urogenital tumors, translational medicine, and novel therapies. Through an integrative and personal medicine approach, he strives to improve not only the length of life for pets with cancer, but their quality of life as well.
In his free time, Dr. Muldowney enjoys spending time with his practice-manager-in-training Corgi, Dewey. Dr. Muldowney loves to run and is a travel enthusiast with a fear of flying. He is also a self-proclaimed cupcake baking extraordinaire.
