Kirstin Shade, DVM Emergency Clinician

Dr. Shade is originally from Dunedin, Florida. She attended St. Petersburg College where she received a bachelor of science in biology. She then went on to attend Ross University for her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine and spent her clinical year, back in the sunshine state, at the University of Florida. Her areas of interest include small animal emergency medicine, soft tissue surgery, and anesthesia. She is currently completing her mentorship training at Fetch which has further expanded her interest and knowledge in emergency medicine. When she is not at the hospital, Dr. Shade can be found outside enjoying nature, scuba diving or spending time with her adventurous dog, Finn.
