Rhys Kalaf, DVM Emergency Clinician

Dr. Kalaf graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in biology from University of Central Florida. He went to Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine and graduated with a concentration in exotics. The overnight and on-call shifts sparked a love for the unpredictability of emergency medicine. Since graduating in 2023, he has worked exclusively as an overnight emergency clinician. His special interests include wound care and laceration repair. 

 

Dr. Kalaf has three spoiled dogs (Tofu, Cookiecat, and Sparkplug), three perfect cats (Mazikeen, Dovahkiin, and Zagreus), and two darling guard geese (Shane and Ryan).
