Dr. Kamryn is a Florida native and grew up in the Tampa Bay area. She worked as a veterinary technician for 5 years before graduating cum laude with her Bachelor’s from the University of Florida. She then completed her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree at Kansas State University, graduating with honors as well as a specialty certification in exotic animal medicine. After graduating veterinary school, she completed an intensive mentorship in Emergency and Critical Care medicine at Garden State Veterinary Specialists. She then practiced emergency medicine in both New York and New Jersey before returning to the Sunshine State. Her special interests include seizure management and expanding access to emergency care for non-traditional species such as birds, reptiles, and pocket pets.

Dr. Kamryn has two beautiful cats, a Tortie named Olivia Benson (after Law & Order: SVU) and a Ragdoll named Snow White. In her free time she enjoys exploring zoos, going to theme parks (especially Disney and Busch Gardens), and playing board games with her husband, Korbin, who is a non-human primate (monkey) veterinarian.
