Krista Hemleb Assistant Practice Manager - Emergency Services

Born in Ohio and raised in Pinellas County, Florida, Krista earned her Associate of Science degree in Veterinary Technology from St. Petersburg College and began working in veterinary medicine in 2009. With over eight years of experience in ER and ICU settings, she brings a high level of technical expertise and calm, compassionate care to the most critical cases—especially when seconds truly count.

Krista has a passion for training and mentoring fellow veterinary technicians, taking pride in helping others grow their skills and confidence. Known for her infectious energy and positive attitude, she is a respected role model who inspires those around her to learn, collaborate, and excel within emergency and specialty veterinary medicine.

Outside of work, Krista enjoys spending time with her friends and family. Her child keeps her busy, and together they love visiting Disney, reading, and spending time at the beach. At home, Krista shares her life with one dog and three cats, further fueling her deep dedication to animals and the care they deserve.
