Dr. Ryan Freed is originally from Maryland. He received his undergraduate degree from Syracuse University in upstate New York. He moved to the Midwest, where he received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Illinois. He practiced in small animal general private practice for 6 years in Ohio before moving back to Maryland to complete a rotating internship at Veterinary Referral Associates. He completed his residency in Radiation Oncology at the University of Florida. Dr. Freed has a special interest in treating osteosarcoma with stereotactic radiation therapy in combination with additional therapies. He appreciates the important role radiation therapy plays in alleviating pain and improving quality of life. 

In his free time, Dr. Freed enjoys traveling, exploring new food scenes, playing tennis and cooking with his husband. He is excited to make Florida his home and spend time at the beach with his family.
