Sharon Quinones, LVT Hospital Director

Sharon Quinones

A born and raised Brooklynite, Sharon has dedicated her entire life and career to top notch patient care. She started early in life by going to a high school over an hour away, specializing in Animal Science. She then went to LaGuardia Community College and obtained her A.A.S and became an LVT in 1994. From there she began her career in a large non-profit organization in NYC where her passion for patient advocacy and exceptional nursing care skyrocketed. In her 29 year-long career, she’s worked in a few general practices but always favored emergency medicine and critical care. She was also an Instructor in NY and then Northeast Regional Manager for Learning and Development. There she worked with several hospitals to help with staff development and training to help elevate standards of care.

The motto that she instills in the staff is to treat every single patient that comes through our doors as if they are their personal pets. Not only with the professionalism and attention needed, but with the tender love and compassion as well. Sharon enjoys spending time with her loved ones including her “fur-babies” Apollo, an American Bully and Thumper, a Flemish Rabbit.

She loves running, fishing, the outdoors, beaches as well as vacationing in different Caribbean Islands whenever possible.
